Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart Arusha at 7:00 AM for the 2.5-hour scenic drive to Lake Manyara. Enter the park through the groundwater forest, alive with blue monkeys and giant mahogany trees. Drive along the lake shore watching for flamingos, pelicans, and hippos. Search for tree-climbing lions in the acacia woodland. Enjoy a picnic lunch with lake views. Afternoon game drive through open grasslands and hot springs before departing for Arusha by 5:00 PM.
