Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 07:00 and drive west, crossing the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the scenic viewpoint. Descend to the valley floor and continue through the small trading town of Narok, the gateway to Maasailand. From Narok, the road winds south into the forested Loita Hills, close to the Tanzanian border. You are dropped at Maji Moto (Swahili for 'hot water'), where a natural hot spring bubbles at the foot of the hills. Here, you will be welcomed by your Maasai guides and crew. After a relaxing soak in the hot spring, a short walk (approx. 1-2 hours) takes you to your first camp. Settle in, meet the donkey team that will carry the camp equipment, and enjoy your first evening with a traditional dinner under the stars.
