Creator & outdoor writer partnerships

Local Mount Kenya knowledge. Clear terms. Your editorial independence.

For creators, writers and independent publishers

Plan a better Mount Kenya story with people who know the mountain.

Mount Kenya Hikes is a locally based guiding team. If a Mount Kenya climb or Kenya hiking itinerary fits your plans, we can share practical local knowledge and help you shape a realistic route outline.

Route planning

Get help comparing routes, seasons, acclimatization schedules and the right trip length for your goals.

Local logistics

Ask about transport, park logistics, mountain crew, packing and what to expect on the trail.

No-post expectation

Our planning help does not require a post, review, recommendation or editorial approval from you.

Planning guidance is free and no-obligation. Any trip you choose to book is quoted separately, with costs agreed before you commit.

Our current creator terms

  • No creator budget yet. We cannot currently pay creator fees, cover a complimentary trip, flights, accommodation, park fees or production costs.
  • No fixed commission. We will not promise a commission amount before agreeing on a specific arrangement.
  • Optional tracked link. If it fits your editorial rules, ask us for a link to help attribute visits and enquiries. Sharing is entirely your choice.
  • Possible future-visit offer. A creator or referred reader may ask about a substantial return-visit or reader rate. We confirm any discount and its terms for the exact route and dates before booking.

Editorial independence comes first

We respect your standards. There is no obligation to publish, recommend us or use a referral link. If you decide to share anything, please follow your own disclosure and editorial policies.

We can answer practical questions and help you plan whether or not you work with us. Any discount or referral arrangement is optional and agreed in advance, so your audience knows the terms.

Tell us what you are planning

Send your rough dates, group size, route ideas and the kind of story or trip you have in mind. We will suggest a practical next step with no obligation to book or post.
