With a early Morning and afternoon game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River, looking for elephants, lions, and leopards The reserve's dry savannah, rocky terrain and riverine areas create a distinctive northern Kenya environment. Samburu to Mount Kenya Region• Route: After an early breakfast begin with an early game drive before the sunrise is too hot and enroute heading south from Samburu direct toward the foothills of Mount Kenya sirimon route trekking.start the hike for 9km through the sirimon gate 2650M to 3300m trekking inside the dense forest where alpine animals like the baboons,elephants,bufalloes may be spotted.overnight will be at the oldmoses camp

At altitude 3300m above sea level,start the morning with a heavy breakfast and good heart to trek for 16km along the trails, alpine flowers like giant lobellia,water lobelia,scenescio comfortably grow in the altitude, having a slow paced hike,have the first break to the forking junction between likii north and shiptons camp trail,with the meandering spiral trails path cross the first valley bridge of likii river adjacent are the peaks of mountkenya,the uphill river is a good test of altitude elevation test,to the observation peak point along the mackinders valley along upto the last point before reaching the shiptons camp after a seven hours beating the track.dinner and overnight at shiptons camp 4200m

Summit Trekking attempt to point lenana from shiptons camp 4200m to 4987m.wake up on a pre-dawn time 3:00 o'clock for where you attempt the mountkenya Summit,with headlights on,and stunning beautiful stars,and enjoyable sweeping views of the main mountkenya climbing peaks of batian and nelion.having reached the summit at 6:15 enjoy the sunrise and good photos of the sounding descend down to chogoria route to roadhead camp,the trail takes you along to mintos camp 4200m for main breakfast and the gorges valleys,the lakes Ellis trail and the nithi waterfalls are reachable spend the overnight at Roadhead camp after a 17km long walk and heavy summit day.

Trekking along from roadhead to bandas camp gives you a clear view of Mugi hill, Ithanguni, and the Giants Billiards and a lovely views of the forest canopy and local streams as you drop in altitude.leave the moorland of Road Head Camp and re-enter the upper forest line. After breakfast,drive descending on a broad track through bamboo and virgin rain forest to meet vehicle for transfer to Chogoria town and further to Nairobi arriving by 17:00hrs.
